Why did I start this journey?

I started making sourdough because I was obsessed with the process—the bubbling starter, the slow rise, and the magic of turning flour, water, and salt into something amazing. I loved every part of it, from the hands-on kneading to the smell of a fresh-baked loaf. At first, I was just baking for fun, sharing my bread with family and friends. But the more I baked, the more I realized how much I wanted to share my love for sourdough with others. So, I started Bread & Buttered to bring fresh, handmade loaves to more people—because good bread should be shared!
